It is our vision that God will strengthen and equip us each Sunday
to reach out with his love throughout the week
JANUARY 24, 2021
This weekend we will be finishing up our current series with
A Time to Commit, based on Ecclesiastes 4:8-12.
Our service will include a special message for our kids, and we recommend that the kids (and kids at heart!) have some licorice ready for that! We also encourage families with young kids to check out the videos "Jesus Picks His Disciples" and "My Best Friend" on the kids channel of Right Now Media (
https://www.rightnowmedia.org/Content/CustomChannel/86016).
The offering this week is for the church budget, as well as for the Cadet program. Although we were unable to host our own Cadet group this year due to Covid-19, the Calvinist Cadet Corps is still hard at work providing resources and support for leaders to mentor and pass on their faith to the next generation. More information can be found on their website,
calvinistcadets.org.

Questions for Reflection
1) Who are some of the different people or groups that you have a commitment to?
2) What has your experience of being part of a church family been like?
3) What are some of the practical ways we can improve our commitment to one another?
4) Read articles 27-29 of The Belgic Confession, found in the back of the psalter hymnal, or online at this link:
https://www.crcna.org/welcome/beliefs/confessions/belgic-confession. How do you think this has shaped the modern church? How do you see this reflected at Ebenezer?
